Bangkok Thai Cuisine - Berkeley

Went to lunch here today. It's a small place. Friendly staff. Their food is so good. Today I ordered the chicken skewers with peanut sauce. Chicken tender and juicy. The sauce was so good. They also give you a little cucumber salad soaked in a vinegar and sugar. That was good. My friend ordered the Tom Kha soup with coconut milk. I thought it was good. Not really worth 13.00 dollars. He also ordered shrimp wraps. I personally do not like them. The sauce had hoisin sauce which I do not care for. He liked them. I have tried the curries red and yellow which were amazing. I would recommend this place. Food is so good.

Flavorful food, variety on dishes. Loved their papaya salad and dessert sticky mango rice. Yummy. Good portions

My favorite Thai restaurant in Berkeley! I’ve been dining here for my whole life (I’m 30) and have recently been getting lots of takeout from Bangkok Thai during shelter in place. The crispy calamari is my family’s favorite appetizer, and we love the eggplant dishes, green curry, and pra ram. The Thai iced tea is exceptionally good as well. Don’t know what I would do without this gem of a restaurant in the neighborhood.

Many people tend to order pad Thai when they visit a Thai restaurant, and this place offers one of the best versions in the area. I highly recommend trying the seafood pad Thai, along with the spring rolls.

This is a fantastic Thai restaurant in Berkeley that I've been visiting for over 20 years. It may not look like much from the outside, but the food is authentically flavorful. My favorites are the Angel Wings and Garlic Chicken served with sticky rice.
