Reviews summary
Hidden in an unassuming storefront, this family-run Mediterranean spot serves an exceptional, heart-made buffet of fresh, often organic dishes — plentiful vegetarian and vegan options, grilled vegetables, hummus, stews, pasta, desserts, tea and coffee. Prices are affordable and the atmosphere is homely and quiet, ideal for lunch; ADA dog-friendly. Expect self-serve seating and clearing, sporadic staff attention, occasional cleanliness lapses and confusing billing. The food’s quality keeps diners returning despite service hiccups.

This was the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant, anywhere. We chose the tempting buffet, which featured a traditional Thanksgiving spread. What Frank Rau dislikes about Bacheesos:
When we first got there, our table was dirty. When we told the staff about our table, they told us they would clean it, but that never happened. The food was amazing! We have never found food so delicious and in buffet style, ever. It was an amazing experience. When i called to find out how much the buffet costs per person, we were told it was $12.50 per person. We overheard a couple paying $20 for their buffet meal.... View all feedback.

This was the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant, anywhere. We chose the tempting buffet, which featured a traditional Thanksgiving spread. You could truly feel the love that went into the food as we filled our plates. The owner kindly explained how to navigate the buffet, sensing that we were unsure about what everything was. The family that ran the restaurant reminded me of my own, making it feel more like an experience than just a meal. Everything served was made from organically grown ingredients. Normally, I struggle to eat during the day because it makes me tired, but here I enjoyed every bite without feeling fatigued at all. Days later, I can’t stop thinking about that food; it left me feeling like a brand new person.
The restaurant has a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. It's quiet, making it an excellent choice for lunch. The all-you-can-eat option offers a great variety of food, including plenty of vegetables, fruits, and some meat. There are also dessert, tea, and coffee options available. All of this comes at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it to both locals and travelers. I look forward to returning!
Really great food. Buffet style with vegetarian options. Walked by many times and from the outside wasn't impressed, however inside it's beautiful with fresh made organic food. You can tell they put their heart into it. My dog is ADA certified and I brought her with me no problems. They have fresh made desserts. It costs less than a fancy drink.

This was the best dining experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We opted for the irresistible traditional Thanksgiving buffet, and you could truly taste the love in every dish as we filled our plates. The owner kindly guided us on how to enjoy each item, sensing that we were a bit unsure. The family who operated the restaurant reminded me so much of my own. It felt like more than just a meal; it was a memorable experience. Everything they served was made with organically grown ingredients. Typically, I struggle to eat during the day because I get fatigued, but here, I felt energized and enjoyed every bite. Even now, several days later, I can’t stop thinking about that incredible food. It was as if I had become a brand new person after dining there.

You can say they're in their hearts. My dog is ADA certified and I brought it without any problems. They have freshly made desserts. It costs less than a pleasure drink.
The food is absolutely delightful and provides a soothing atmosphere. I would definitely dine there whenever I'm in town.
Very homely, inviting, and genuinely Mediterranean restaurant. Vegan is totally possible at the buffet—see pic attached! Includes fruit, a variety of grilled veggies, hummus pita, a delicious vegan stew (chickpeas and veggies), AND pesto pasta!!! PLUS they brought me a steaming-hot bowl of veggie soup! All food is well-cooked and delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked.
