This place was found during the journey of Berkley Springs. At first I was tired when we were the only ones, and the place looked closed. The menu is not affordable and the food is made fresh. The food is delicious. While the decor may not be spectacular, the owner is both funny and charming. The prices are quite reasonable as well.

This restaurant was a delightful find during our trip to Berkley Springs. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive since we were the only customers and the place appeared closed. However, I quickly realized that the menu was a bit pricey, but the food is prepared fresh. I ordered the Speck Cheeseburger and fries with gravy. The meat was freshly sourced from the butcher that day, and the portions were generous, so come hungry! The owners were very friendly and even offered us samples of a homemade salsa from a woman, which was absolutely delicious. If you want to add toppings like salad or tomatoes to your burger, there's a charge of $1 for each, which I found a bit off-putting, but it didn't ruin the overall experience. Our bill for four came to about $36.00, and I definitely plan to return. This place is fantastic; mom-and-pop restaurants really have a special charm!
We've been fans of this place for two years. Mary, the cook, is amazing! My wife and I wanted to return just to see Mary because we really miss her fantastic cooking.
It's always like home cooking. No frills, just good food.
