What User dislikes about Lammastide Inn:
Stopped by today with my nervous dog to try and get her used to new places. The Lady behind the bar was brilliant (I'm so sorry i didn't get your name). Everybody was so friendly and welcoming and really understanding. I will 100% be back, probably weekly, can't recommend enough! Thank you View all feedback.

Six of us came here the afternoon when the kitchen ended. we were very welcome and stayed. the choice of meal was good and everyone in the group was impressed by the quality of their food and service.
As for the rhubarb and apricot frangipane, it was light, moist, and had the perfect balance of flavors and sweetness. Truly amazing! If you're a local, this place is worth the 20-mile drive. Just be sure to make a reservation; once word gets out about how good the food is, getting a table becomes a real challenge! Don't miss out on this gem!
This is a spacious local pub managed by a skilled team. The wonderful couple who owns it is often behind the bar, serving up delicious, home-cooked meals. Be sure to stop by when you have the chance!
Took my friend here for his Birthday lunch in October 2019. I was foolish in not pre-booking the Sunday roast as it was sold out well before our arrival. However, the food we had was delicious anyway. I had hand-carved ham, egg, chips with salad. The portion was very generous and quality was superb, especially considering the price, with a couple of huge wedges of home-cooked bone-in ham. My friend had the famous sausages, mash and onion gravy. Excellent, girthy (lol) butcher’s sausages with plenty of mash, peas and lashings of quality thick onion gravy. We had some lovely ‘proper’ cider on draught which made a refreshing change to find cider claiming to be ‘proper’ to actually be ‘proper’. It was strong, cloudy and tinged orange in colour and brought rosiness to our cheeks! Staff were all lovely, atmosphere was excellent. It’s a fairly small pub but very cosy and comfortable. Well-behaved dogs allowed. We shall definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you very much for a lovely afternoon
