Mowwe Restaurant & Cafe - Bergkamen

Das Restaurant ist auf einem Hof, direckt vor dem Wald. Man kann gut den Nachmittag im Walt spazieren gehen und dann lecker essen. Reibeplätzen am Donnerstag sind das top Menü. Es ist eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre, nette Bedienung, Essen hervorragend, hausgemachte Salatdressing ist nicht zu topen, übrigens auch zu kaufen/ mitnehmen.Wir essen öfter dort mit Freunden und mit der Familie.

Das Restaurant Mowwe lässt sich schon aus der Ferne zwischen Wald und Feldern gut erkennen, da das Haus recht frisch signalrot gestrichen ist. Der frische Eindruck setzt sich dann auch im Innenraum fort - hier ist alles neu und modern eingerichtet.Wir sind als Großfamilie einigermaßen regelmäßig im Restaurant Mowwe zum Brunchen. Sehr positiv ist, dass man insgesamt reichlich Platz hat und sich nicht eingeengt fühlt, auch wenn das Restaurant voll ist. Die Auswahl beim Brunch ist gut und abwechslungsreich.Während der Besuche dort kann man immer wieder erfahren, dass sich das Restaurant Mowwe als sehr familienfreundlich präsentiert - zum einen ist es meist kein Problem, wenn sich die Kinder drinnen ein wenig bewegen, zum anderen ist auch draußen viel Platz um sich zu bewegen. Bspw. an Ostern wird auch immer ein kleines Rahmenprogramm für die Kleinen organisiert (Ponny-Reiten oder Kutsch-Fahrten und Ostereiersuche).Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Am Rande des Kurler Waldes zum Ortsteil Lanstrop hin befindet sich das Restaurant Bauer Mowwe. Zur Einkehr nach einer Wanderung ist dieses sehr gut geeignet. Das Essen selbst ist gut und einfach. Im besonderen fällt die leckere Salatsosse auf, die auch vor Ort erworben werden kann. Leider sind die Portionen für das Geld etwas mickrig. Also wäre eine Suppe vorher empfehlenswert. Das Ambiente ist so weit in Ordnung.

The Mowwe restaurant is beautifully located in the landscape reserve of Lanstrop and yet not far from the city of Dortmund. There's plenty of parking. Input was only with COVID certificate and that was also controlled by the staff! For the silver wedding celebration we had a separate area and were able to move freely in it. The food was good. It was grilled fresh and there were various salads. The cake and cake pieces for dessert were really delicious The restaurant was very well visited inside and out and the service staff had all the hands to do! ( Something disturbing was felt that next door was another feast and the staff had to run through our room for their operation. Similarly, there was always a service from the adjacent kitchen to the guests in the garden area. The toilet was also used by other guests, was heavily frequented and it was necessary to get back to the only men's toilet.

We were there for lunch. You can sit very nicely outside in the shade. Children have a small playground. The food was really nice on the plate draped and also tasted very well. You can also go there very well to drink coffee. A changing selection of cakes is offered. The milk coffee was also very good. We like to come back.
