View all feedback.
Also, something over decorated, but the great food for all that. reservations highly recommended. they seem a single series of tasting menu (cook 4 or 6 courses) that only changes all 3 weeks, but it is really excellent.
Two of us had a few weeks ago an evening meal in dröppelminna. we enjoyed the daily 3-course meal with a wonderful fish soup, a main course of kalbsfilet with kartoffeln and a tiramisu-like dessert cup. the brot was delicious! sauce and the season were great. we have sunk outside and like other reviewers mentioned, the chairs are a bit trickety. think 60s retro. but I must say that although eating was excellent, the service left something for a restaurant of this caliber to wish. server were not particularly attentive. the wee we ordered when we set ourselves, only arrived 20 minutes later after we had finished our suppe. and perhaps the personal wanted us to enjoy the gardenambience after the meal, but it was difficult to get someone's attention if we wanted to give up and leave. To be fair, we have here dined with the family a few years ago and had a very memorable (positive) experience.
Great restaurant. beautiful, picturesque building. quality food, wein and service 100%. a different restaurant experience that works excellently.
They must bring cash if they like to dine at dröppleminna. we enjoyed their delicious meal, but unfortunately they did not have my US guarantee cards, visa and mastercard, although both had chips. So we paid good old money. we all ordered menu 4 floor (4...Gang Set menu) that was 49 euro. a bottle of water (7.50 euro) costs more than a glass house wine (6.50 euro) that is a charming one-room restaurant in the middle of the landscape.
Certainly the cosiest place in town! The friendliest service! Fine Food! Do I need to say more? Hope to be back......
