Young waitress understood my schoolgirl French and was very efficient. The place had a steady trade whilst we were there and meals were served...quickly.

The food we had a pizza and a pasta dish was plentiful and filling. Service...was ok. If you want to sit inside the restaurant it is up steps but there is seating outside at ground level.

Get a quiche slice in the bakery across the road or eat elsewhere...as unfortunately you may regret coming here for both the service and the food.

The staff were very attentive, and the prices very reasonable. We have been visiting Bergerac for years and la mommas was always a favourite. It's...now changed hands I think, but the food is just as nice. Please don't be put off by the poor reviews they seem very harsh
