Bistrot De L'Ancien Temple - Bergerac

We only drank as the night we were planning to eat here (Sunday) it was closed. We were gutted as if the food matched the beer, wine, setting and atmosphere then we'd have been on to a winner. As it was, we ended two of our three nights here, spending an hour or so after dining in the old town. Staff always seemed run off their feet but shout up and you will get served quickly. Band on one night (Friday) but not so loud you can't have a conversation. Sitting out front is a good spot for people-watching.

Great service, wide variety of beers/wines, delicious and well seasoned meat/side dishes! Clean and cosy terrace. Four stars 'cause of slighty undercooked meat.

Great service. Food was decently cooked and plenty. Tasteful side dishes. Excellent wine suggestions.

The first time we visited this restaurant it was great. However when we went back last night, we were served bad beer (and were being told initially there was nothing wrong with it, but it was eventually agreed it was not right - it was murky) and then we were overcharged for it.
