In turned out to be a good choice with an extensive range of pizza (and other food) on the menu. Reasonable house red wine. Friendly staff. A good choice for a local pizza place.

We both chose the same dishes but while they arrived steaming hot the first time, despite the restaurant being really busy, the second time they were no better than lukewarm, despite the restaurant being almost empty. It was clear that while on the first occasion they’d been served on warmed plates and left the kitchen promptly, on the second they’d been served on cold plates and had been left to stand a while before being delivered to the table. We felt it was reasonable to grumble and ask for the food to be hot, yet a member of staff argued with us that we were wrong, that the food was hot enough and that whether the plates were hot or cold made no difference. So much for the customer always being right! We won’t be going back. Such a shame because our first impressions had been really good. Can’t tolerate rudeness, though.
