Just Like Momma's Llc - Benton Harbor

Finally got to try Just Like Mommas for dinner tonight. My husband and I had seen some great pictures online and they convinced us we couldn't pass this place up. We come in and we order a cheeseburger special and a double cheeseburger special, both coming with fries. My husband wanted a bacon burger but they had no bacon which was surprising. I sit on one of the little couches while waiting for the food. The inside is definitely not a sit down place, it's a take out restaurant. The couches were so small that I took up 70% of it and nobody could sit next to me except maybe a child. If anyone else wanted to come in, they'd have to stand because my husband and I took over the 2 couchs. When we got our food my husband was looking at it like a child about to dive into opening presents on Christmas day. The fries were clearly fresh cut potatoes and oh man were they tasty. Best fries I've ever had. The patties were juicy and lookes delicious but they were not as good as I hoped. You could taste that they hadn't cleaned the grill after they made fish. My burger tasted like fish once it got even the slightest bit cold. When it was fresh off the grill it wasn't as noticeable, but at room temp you could taste it. I'll still come back to try something else but I will never order a burger again.

Good food, nice staff...only drawback is not all menu items available everyday.

I got greens and banana pudding and dressing everything was Amazing and had so much flavor and love to the food I will be back soon

The food was cold when I received it. I ordered the ribs cold sweet potatoes and mac n cheese. Lukewarm They also charge an extra 1.00 if you use a card. They never have enough food and their dessert is non-existent. They should make more than enough, if that is what the customers are consuming more of! I spent 11.00 for cold food and sub-par flavours. This place is good, if you do not mind spending a lot of money.

OMG GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD ESPECIALLY LOVE THE J CHICKEN!!
