We are lucky to have this kind of place in Bensville they serve great coffee, and apart from cafe staples like bacon and egg rolls they serve a nice variety of lunch meals: the menu changes daily based on what ingredients are available, and it's all home cooking style. Friendly service, and they kept on serving the community through the lockdowns as best they could. View all feedback.
What Maybell Davis doesn't like about Bottletree Kitchen:
I heard this place was the best in Central Coast for coffee and when I sat my daughter in their antique child seat which could not easily be opened, we had no choice but to hold our daughter in our lap while having our bland...lunch and dirty water coffee. Amazing cafe, super friendly staff, scrumptious food. They have a wide selection of toys for the kids to play with and a park just across the road. If it’s cold or wet they have blankets on offer. Prices are really good, and is a quiet...place to sit and think. Overall we thought this was a Spectacular place to take kids, dog(s) or come solo.
We’re lucky enough to have this fantastic little cafe as our local. The menu is short but sweet, changing regularly depending what’s in season and what Sue and Grace feel like cooking. What’s guaranteed is that it’ll be yummy fresh, home-cooked food made by...really clever cooks who know flavour. If you don’t see anything you fancy on the menu, just ask if they’ve got the ingredients they’ll knock something up for you. Great for people with food intolerances gluten free? No problem, their awesome BLT is quickly adapted into a delicious salad. Not eating carbs? Easy they know their ingredients will adapt any dish they can. Just note that almost all their seating is outdoors only a problem on a very wet day (they have gorgeous hand crocheted blankets like your nana used to make to deal with the cold). But they do takeaway too so you can always take some yumminess home with you (homemade soup? Yes please
The kitchen is very relaxed, the coffee is wonderful and the staff very pleasant indeed. It is situated in a quiet area with birdlife all round and in a very small shopping precinct. Whenever we are there, it is always the same, magic.
We're very lucky to only live around the corner from this fantastic little cafe! Sue, Grace and Sean are a family team who work together to produce delicious home-cooked food and great coffee. Their menu is short but sweet and they're always happy to make...something for you that isn't on the menu if they've got the ingredients. Some of the highlights we look out for are anything involving their slow cooked pork (a great Asian salad, a brioche bun with mature cheddar and some wonderful home made chutney or pickle) and their ever inventive bruschetta (goats cheese with balsamic strawberries or roast beetroot, roasted carrots with preserved lemon and egg are just a couple of examples). Grace also makes the best avocado toast on the coast! If you like fresh food made with great produce by lovely people, Bottletree is worth the slight deviation from the main road.
