On Christmas Day, we made a stop at The Grind while passing through Benson in search of a quick bite, and we were not disappointed. The service was fast and the prices were affordable. Despite the appealing photos, the coffee at this restaurant is disappointing. It is made from an automatic espresso machine, and the quality is below average. The bathrooms are in poor condition, similar to those at a gas station. The overall odor of the restaurant is overpoweringly of bleach. The staff, however, is friendly. I would not recommend this place, as it does not live up to its high prices. View all feedback.
Super sweeter place with friendly service and great latte! the bathroom was clean. a local gem, surrounded by fast food chains. so happy we stopped here!
Great coffee and great food!! They even have chicken or tofu bowls now!
Stopped here on the way home from the beach and I cannot say enough about it. I got the iced mocha and my boyfriend got a cookies and cream milkshake; both were delicious. He gave me different chocolate options for the mocha so I chose dark. You could taste the chocolate and coffee but, while it was sweet, I appreciated it wasn't over the top sweet like a lot of coffee shops. It was ran by one man and we got there right before a small line formed behind us. We will definitely stop here the next time we go to the beach.
Clean tidy. A great selection of gluten-free baked goods and fresh ice cream. Conveniently located right off the interstate, so a great stop when you need a quick pick me up while traveling. They even have a drive thru. Coffee was a fair trade, local toast. I am kicking myself already for not buying a fresh bag of their Cowboy Roast while we were there.
Came to visit from out of town searching for a quiet place with good coffee and I'm so glad I found this place!! Amazing coffee and a very friendly owner. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.
