I ordered fish and chips and I am quite sure it was a pack... read more We come to the area 3-4 times/year. Publyk put out a brand new menu yesterday. Our food was not good. I ordered fish and chips and I am quite sure it was a packaged frozen product. My husband's strip steak was at least 1/3 gristle. The warm bread was cool. The restaurant was mostly empty and the hostess seated us against the wall and inches from a noisy table. Everything was overpriced. We will not return.

I had the creamy shrimp scampi which was absolutely delicious and my husband had the pork chops with apples which he enjoyed thoroughly. Portion size was perfect. I saved room for the maple walnut ice cream which was creamy and crunchy. It was a great evening and it will definitely not be the last time we eat here.

The salad bar offered a wide variety of options, and the fresh loaf of bread with maple butter was fantastic! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the views from the deck were incredible!

The public house is just as I remember it from the 1990s—always a fantastic dining experience. The cod dish was outstanding!
