Lil Britain - Bennington

I moved from England to NH six years ago. The one food I really miss is traditional Fish n chips. When visiting VT, we found this jewel of a place. Oh, my God, as good as you would buy it in England. Thanks for doing our day.

Spent the night in Vermont and stumbled over this place. That was the best fried fish and fried shrimp I've ever eaten!!! The fish was so flocky with an amazing crust. The shrimps were perfectly fried! Not gumsy with a delicious crunchy. Even the fries were delicious. I would absolutely recommend eating here. I wish it was closer.

Classic British cuisine made right! Simple and tasty with large hearty portions. In any case, would recommend. Try her homemade root beer!

Friendly staff and made to order food makes this place a good choice. I had the fish and y while my wife had the färgers and chips. Both were very delicious with thick cut pommes and fresh Cole Slav. Note: The small sizes were more than enough.

With covid these folks have curbside pickup in the CCV/ Department of Health parking lot. Food is cooked fresh and always tastes good. Their prices have remained reasonable. We really like their cucumber salad, but it's seasonal.
