Used to go to The Apple Barn often prior to this new owner. I am local. Always a bit pricy, but the baked goods were delicious and they looked good. Last week-end I stopped to purchase muffins for breakfast. My sister was with me and we agreed they didn't look very appetising but bought them anyway. 4 muffins and 2 scones were $27!!! Fantastic store and delicious food! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and there's plenty of parking available. Don't miss out on the homemade donuts!
Great staff . The truckers cheese is phenomenal. Home made everything. A must stop .
I visited because of the blueberry festival, but I found that most of the blueberries were quite sour. It felt like a misleading gimmick just to draw people in.
Quintessential Vermont! If you’re in Bennington, you have to go to the Apple Barn! The maple ice cream was excellent and the peach pie was the best pie I’ve had in my life!
I usually stop here after Vermont or west Massachusetts hikes to grab real local maple syrup or donuts, sometime they don’t have what I want. Visited on June 24-24, and a young lady was very helpful, but the black lady was showing aggressive behavior to young girl who was helping us. I needed to test the quality of syrup before buying and she was mad at her.
