I've never been to Regular Britain but the Lil' version in Bennington, VT seems like the real deal. The batter on the fish was perfectly golden and unbelievably crispy. I took a chance on something new and tried the mushy peas, but they must be an acquired taste, like marmite or monarchy. Their house branded root beer was really good too. Highly recommend. Great fish and chips and pie. We had the large fish and chips and a veggie curry pie. Both were excellent. The batter on the fish was thin, light and crispy. We also got cream soda which was yum- the sodas seemed local to them.
Best fish and Chios anywhere.
