The teenager at the counter seemed... read more If I could give zero stars, I would. We came for our regular monthly visit to KFC and decided to try the Bennington location. The teenager at the counter seemed either new or uninterested in what we were ordering. We placed several meal orders, but one was missing and told it would be ready in five minutes. Then my fiancée ordered a few more items, which we received before the missing meal—and that order was incorrect. It took 15 minutes for them to bring our 5-piece tender meal. While waiting, I stood at the counter and overheard almost all the employees in the back cursing and saying inappropriate things, with my kids nearby. One man, maybe the manager, came over, apologized, and explained he was off the clock but stayed to make sure we got our order. Aside from him, I’m very disappointed with our visit and will not be returning.

The line moved painfully slow—... read more If I could give zero stars, I would. Half the menu was unavailable, and this was my third visit with no chicken tenders in stock. The line moved painfully slow—40 minutes from ordering to receiving my food at the drive-thru. The employee was unhelpful, only saying, "I can’t sell that right now," without clarifying what was available. When I reached the window, only half my order was given, and the bag was shoved out before I could even ask for sauces. So rude! The whole experience was terrible. The place is a mess, and the staff clearly don’t care. It was a complete waste of time and money. I will never go back.

I found it quite surprising that the staff member on duty was in such a foul mood, especially since I was being polite and respectful. I also felt misled about the availability of certain items on the menu, and the staff member didn’t offer any alternatives, even though I would have been open to suggestions (which could ultimately hurt your business, folks). The employee responded with short, one-word answers or sometimes didn’t reply at all, so I chose not to pursue the matter any further. Even though it wasn't busy at the time, I decided not to bring it up then, understanding that everyone has off days. However, if I encounter the same attitude on my next visit, I will address it right away. This is the first time I've had an issue at this restaurant, which is why I'm giving it a three-star rating. It only takes one person's attitude to ruin the experience, so I recommend that the owners take steps to address this issue before it becomes a bigger problem.
