Contribute FeedbackIt is nice to get Mexican sweets at the airport. They are opening Kind of small place to sit and eat but they provide good sweets. Cakes, pans, jellos, pound cakes, cookies, marshumellow decoration stick candles, chicken mole sandwich and coffee. They have some...more.
El Globo is certainly well worth a visit if you are looking for top quality cakes, pastries etc. There may be cheaper bakeries around, but the selection at El Globo is probably better and many outlets also include a cafe as well as the bakery...section, which makes the visit even better. My local in Ave Montivideo has inside and outside tables, where you can sit and have a coffee and cake and watch the world go by in the meantime. Highly recommended.
If I was on death row Id want this place to be my last meal!! LOL, but true. Its the best bakery Ive ever had. Now they have added a small restaurant on so stay for a lunch and cafe! Its the BEST!!!...My fav are the Croissants, hand dipped donuts with sprinkles and Bigotes! How do they do it!!!!??? HEAVENNNNNN!!!!!!! VIVA MEXICO!!!
This very clean, well established shop for pastries (pasteles) was just doors down from the Hampton inn in the historic district. Irresistible! For fun, walk through the giant Pasteleria Madrid on the other side of the street first.
Todo es muy rico, y considero que la relación calidad precio es la adecuada. Siempre que puedas, visita El Globo, vale mucho la pena!
