What Ellen J dislikes about L'escale:
This was the worst food i’ve ever eaten. Tasted nothing, very bad food. The bolognese tasted like it was from a Can you can buy from the store. The ceasar salad tasted fish with eggs in it. I’ve never seen a ceasar salad with eggs in it. Then we have the steak, it was gray it looked boiled. But the on good thing was the server, she was very nice !! The one star goes to her View all feedback.

Passed by this restaurant after just eating elsewhere and noticed 3 things, the quality of the food on the tables, the 2 Daily menus and finally, most importantly for me they were not trying to drag us in! The next night we had our evening meal there, wow, absolutely brilliant food and service. Although it was a bit chilly we sat outside and blankets were provided although not needed. This is now my favourite restaurant in Benidorm and will be returning on our next visit.

Myself and friend are in Benidorm and we stumbled across this little gem, The food was lovely, as it was our first time we opted for the 3 course menu at €12.50pp Complimentary garlic bread to get us ready for 3 very big portions of tasty food. 1st course was the prawns for me, soup for my mate 2nd course was steak for me and chicken breast 3rd course was Apple crumble. My prawns were very tasty, 5 of them which I was amazed by. The steak was a generous portion and very well cooked I asked for medium rare and it was spot on Dessert was delicious. All washed down with a small carafe of wine. A real bargain at €12.50pp including wine. Keep up the great work and we'll see you in 8 weeks on our next visit

Restaurant very well located, very good and cost-effective. there are very good red wine from bordeaux. very nice boss. not missed on benidorm
