Wholesome Bean - Bendigo

If you appreciate consistently good coffee, then this is the place for you. The staff is friendly, the seating is comfortable, and the decor is small, intimate, and interesting. The food is delicious, making this restaurant a definite winner. And to top it off, the owner supports the Western Bulldogs, which is another bonus.

As there is a coffee shop on every corner plus some in Bendigo it is always great to find an extremely good brew. The wholesome bean has nailed it. Great staff great service and most importantly awesome coffee.

I took some friends for a quick lunch on a busy weekday and we thought that the Wholesome Bean was perfect. While coffee is clearly their specialty, they also offered a delicious light lunch menu with choices like soup or pasta dishes. The shop may be small, but we were able to find three comfortable chairs despite one of the table legs being a bit wobbly. Fortunately, our friendly waitress quickly fixed it with some napkins. And I can't forget to mention that the coffee was excellent.

You will find this quirky eatery a real delight. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the retro décor is a real delight. The food is great and fantastic value for money. The coffee is terrific and made the way you ask for. There are always plenty of people there for lunch or just in there during the day for a quick munch. It is a place were you can sit and relax and stay for as long as you like without the staff trying to push you out once you've eaten. This is one of the best valued places you can go to in Bendigo and it is different, although there are plenty of like places in Melbourne.

The coffee is as good as anywhere and the atmosphere is great. Luke you do a wonderful job and all the staff are friendly and attentive. Will keep coming back unpretentious and nice exactly what I'm after
