A group of us went to this pub to check it out it was great its nice to go somewhere that makes good pubs meals there is way to many try hards in bendigo and i think most pubs forget the basics make things that people want.and we wanted a great value pub meal and we got it the service was great and the owners are lovely we will be returning for sure. What User doesn't like about McIvor Hotel Restaurant:
Ordered steak with mashed potatoes for dinner tonight and surprised that the mashed potatoes is from the powder. ????according the MKR (My Kitchen Rule) judges is cheating. And not to mention about the service. ???? View all feedback.

After waiting over 30 minutes for our meals (only two others there) we were informed that there was some problem with the paper and our order didn't go through. How much longer would they have let us sit there. No real apology not even a free drink offered. Will never go there again and I definitely do not recommend the place.

Being the only customers may have not been a good time to judge but the meals were extremely ordinary, served by the barman who may well have been the cook for the day? Friendly enough but really doubt we shall go again.

My favorite pub in Bendigo and I love this pub since the new owners have taken it over. Great food and friendly service makes it one of those pubs that you can go watch the footy for a Sunday sesh or wine and dine any night of the week. Really great place to start your pub crawl with a short walk into town to catch the clubs or live music. love love love this pub:-)

Throughly enjoyed the Mediterranean lamb salad, reasonably priced meals and friendly service. Pleasant atmosphere.
