McDonald's - Bendigo

My wife and I ate at this McDonalds in Strathdale on Friday July we wished we had just ordered takeaway, these are the reasons why. The restaurant did have safe distancing if you were eating in. When waiting for your order at the...back of the restaurant even when eating in or for takeaway there is NO safe distancing, all patrons just standing right next to each other. We witnessed for the minutes we were there NO staff cleaning any tables after they were used. The tables we observed near to us were dirty with crumbs on our table when we sat down, yes we should have left, we wiped our own table first. Under the laminated notices about how to put your details on their app were even soiled. There was a group of secondary students who had completed their meal when we arrive and were still there after we had eaten. My understanding was that you had to leave once you finished your meal. We observed the restaurant it’s self was not clean especially the main door and the glass. This restaurant is not the cleanest at normal times but in this pandemic all of the above should have been addresses as per the requirements from the Health Department, it should not have to be written in a review. If your wondering what I did about the above breaches I contacted the City of Greater Bendigo and reported what I had observed, hopefully the Health Inspectors will at least visit the restaurant and see for themselves the failure of management at this restaurant to abide by the Governments Regulations and offer to retrain the staff and a fine as this is obviously a restaurant trying to save money by not having a staff member just to disinfect and clean. and risking the community who chose to eat here. My advise Is don’t eat in, take the option of takeaway. The owners of this Mcdonalds should hang their heads in shame and wake up and put some adult supervision in place because we deserve to be able to eat our food without the worry of getting sick in this crisis or when things get back to normal.

I can not believe how consistently this McDonalds messes up your order when ordering via drive through. You’re about a chance (at best) of getting what you actually ordered. Not to mention some ridiculously long wait times. I waited about half an hour for...a basic order from the drive through one night. I can honestly say that this is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever attended in the entire world. Deplorable!

You never wait long for food at Maccas. Yes it is Maccas. The staff here work hard and are eager to please. Nice manners and efficient service was found by the staff here. Clean store with easy access.

Nice young man served us. Quite a long wait but there was table service. The chips were miles over cooked almost burnt, with little or no salt and the cheese burgers very lopsided. Think they might have rushed. The place just looked a bit tired.

Ordered a large meal and when i tapped the chip box on the table, it was only half full. Seems to be a common theme with most maccas i visit.
