Amazing selection of food and drinks. Deli is open 9am to 5pm Tue Sat. Cheese and pastries selection was amazing. If you want to buy a foodie gift, this place has some really interesting choices. Limited tables to eat, recommended to book you in advance. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Harvest Food Wine:
On a trip to the gallery we decided to have coffee and pastries for breakfast. The person behind the pastry counter didn't have a coffee machine. When we enquired about this arrangement of ordering we got a strange answer. No coffee available at that counter and not able to eat pastries at any of the empty tables. Rudely spoken to and really weird arrangement. This is one rude person who should not be running a busin... View all feedback.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch outside on Tues. I had the mussels. Awesome! Two had the duck salad which was lovely, and my sister-in-law had a tart with salad, also beautiful! We will return.
Harvest Food Wine was one of the go to place for us (specially in last 2 years) however this year there has been something missing in regards to food and the service. FOOD: Consideration for vegetarian customer has been completely different. There is a note on the bottom of the menu stating no changes to the menu or words to that effect which is understandable however this should apply if a customer requesting substitution. Example: if a customer doesn 't wish to have any meat product on their croissant they should be allowed to (which was allowed prior to this year). This made my partner order a salad. Grilled thick cut bacon was the order dish that was order (by me) and 64 degree eggs which were part of this dish were not cooked properly (truly disappointed). SERVICE: Customer service from Harvest seems a little low as the it seems that all of them are in rush (perhaps having a bad day). Usually at the end of the meal, we always been asked how was the meal however this time it seems like kindly pay your bill and leave. This review isn 't really mean to harm/hurt the rating of this establishment but to point out that one of our favourite place in Bendigo has dropped the standard (really hope this was a once off event).

Rudely spoken to and really weird arrangement. This is one rude person who should not be running a business. We would have returned for lunch but after that display of weirdness no way. We are from the country and if this is the best manners and arrangement they can find, they give us country folk a really bad name. Their lack of response to such a large number of terrible reviews is really concerning.
This place deserves zero stars. Like several other reviewers, I was told I couldn 't sit in this restaurant because I wasn 't ordering food. So I politely tried to compromise and asked for a serve of fries. I was then asked to leave because I wasn 't ordering a main meal . Absolutely disgraceful and ridiculous. The restaurant was nowhere near full, and I was only seated at the bar anyway. I had already poured my tea and was about to drink it, when the waitress rudely informed me that it was going to be put into a takeaway cup and that I was going to pay at the counter on my way out. These people have no regard for paying customers who are trying to support their business. And they 're the only ones who lose out from this because customers don 't want to give them their money, and then the restaurant loses further business because people don 't ever want to go there again because they 've been treated rudely. It 's a pretty idiotic way of running a business. Also, $5.50 for a cup with hot water and a tea bag in it is ridiculously expensive. Do not give these people your time or your money!
