I have been to this restaurant a few times over the years, but unfortunately the vegan options have been decreasing with each visit. Today, there was only one option available - the vegan bowl. However, it was more like a chickpea salad that was overly oily and salty. I also asked for a vegan smoothie, which the staff made for me, but the waitress didn't realize that yogurt and honey were not vegan. When she left them out, the smoothie turned out to be terrible.
I ordered the avocado toast and it was fantastic. The menu has several vegan options available and you can also request some dishes to be adjusted to meet your dietary preferences.
The restaurant clearly labels their vegan options. I ordered the pad thai, which looked nice but was lacking in flavor. I went back for breakfast with friends and tried the tofu scramble, which was delicious.
Prior to Melbourne Lockdown 2.0 I came to Bendigo. Dined at Cortille on a Sunday for Brunch as not many other cafes were open. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. <br/ tofu scramble this is something that I’ve been interested in trying on other menus but never have. Very tasty Thai flavours and you couldn’t tell you were eating tofu. <br/ Smash avo standard, nothing spectacular.<br/ Chilli Scramble was missing chorizo which appears to be a staple of chilli scrambles these days. however, the flavour of the scramble was very nice and had a nice chilli kick. <br/ With all of the meals (except the tofu) only one piece of toast was included. For the price, I was expecting a bigger portion and an extra piece of toast or an extra element (I.e chorizo) would’ve increased volume of the dish. <br/ <br/ very friendly and chatty staff. They were all happy to assist with menu choices. Food and drinks came out hot and on time. <br/
