Blue Jam Cafe - Bendigo

The food at this restaurant is truly exceptional and delicious, especially the gluten free and dairy free desserts and cakes which are absolutely incredible.

I've gone in several times to Blue Jam - closed without notice no sign on door, sorry we've sold out, sorry we've sold out, I try again sorry we only do breakfast till 1pm, so no lunch? Nope! Left again with no food. Poorly run business no consistency. I won't be going back again. And I really loved the beef nachos & waffles! I wish you could be better blue jam ohhh and please give people the option of tap water & don't force people into buying bottled water, pretty sure if you serve food you have to offer your patrons tap water!

Being a coeliac when I heard about this place that is 100% gluten free I knew I had to try it. Smaller place than I imagined but had nice vibe. Welcoming server. I could have eaten everything they had to offer but went for the chicken schnitzel and salad. It wasn't your boring salad either it was fresh and few different options which were a lovely change. Very reasonably priced too. Food was delicious could have eaten it again was so good. Definitely will come back when next visit Bendigo.

What a great little gem to find. Busy little bustling cafe, just perfect. Coffee was great, food was fabulous, and even service with a smile. The cafe is busy and sharing a table lets you mingle with others where normally you wouldn't. Great place and an enjoyable time.

Sorry Blue Jam Cafe, we wanted you to be wonderful! It took 45 minutes for our first meal to come out, there were five of us and we waited a minimum of ten minutes between each of the other meals coming out. (Well over an hour from offering before we all had our meals) The berries tasted odd and seemed frozen, my big brekky was like soup in a bowl, the bacon wasn't crispy and the waffles were white and uncooked. Although we only ordered two hot drinks, one arrived 15 minutes after the other and was cold from sitting on the counter. The cafe was busy but not flat out and this sort of service is disappointing considering it's such a small cafe.
