Feedback
Had breakfast for two. One was made from the selection of items which included spinach, mushrooms, bacon, toast and goats cheese. Well presented however it stated 2 pieces of toast and received one not a big issue but wasn't what was ordered. The other was from the menu which included home made beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs as you like and toast. Ordered bacon as an extra with this as well. Also ordered two skinny latte - these were nice. Not bitter or strong, looked it however but once tasted pleasant surprise.Back to the meals, on both plates the mushrooms were cold - however well marinated so thinking that is how they are meant to be which is strange for a hot breakfast. The bacon was ample and nice however i do like it slightly more cooked but that is my taste.Beans - generally not a fan but these were the best i have had. Taste was great and just the right amount. Good job.Poached eggs well done on a soft yoke for some reason lots of chefs have trouble getting a soft center. The rest of the meal was good and just ample so you are not leaving any on the plate but not also leaving the cafe still looking for more food.Q???... what is the thing these days when you order eggs. Most locations will give you TWO however the trend these days is to squeeze the little buggers on ONE slice of nice toast. Gone are the days of getting TWO pieces of toast one for each egg. I am guessing the toast is the thing that does not cost the most but yet you only get one. YES i under stand the loaf goes twice as far but think about the customer who just might like to have one slice per egg. This is not a go at this location it is becoming the norm and a little frustrating.Overall will go back for coffee - YUM. Will give the breaky another go to see if the mushies are warm and might ask for TWO slices of toast this time. Overall nice, friendly staff and a relaxed location.
