Thank you, Homeland, for the wonderful food! I can't wait to come back! Also, I really appreciated the chocolates—you made my day! The hand-cut chips were delicious, and the veggie burger was amazing. Great job to the chef, and the chocolates were definitely the highlight!
We decided to stop by on a whim, and we were completely surprised by how great it was! The lentil soup was heavenly, and the zucchini balls were delicious. My younger companion loved her chicken schnitzel, which says a lot! The baklava was incredible; my partner thinks it's the best he's ever had. We will definitely be returning!
I absolutely LOVE stopping by Bay Leaf for my morning coffee! It's my first stop before starting my workday, and Jeremiah and Christina are amazing! They serve FANTASTIC coffee, the best almond milk, and they are just wonderful people!
We spent three nights in Bendigo, and visited three times for breakfast. The first time was on the recommendation of our hotel manager, and after that first visit we didn’t want to go anywhere else. The food all has a fairly Greek flavour to it (even the pots of salt on the table are imported from Greece). Every time it was buzzing with energy. The dishes are standard cafe fare, but with a Mediterranean twist. I had Dukkah Eggs, and Eggs Benedict, and my wife couldn’t go past the Granola, which she said was the best she had ever had.
Great coffee, great food, excellent service. It’s clear the owners work on the floor here they’re passionate about giving you quality food and perfect service, they’re affable and interested in the clientele chatty and engaging in a busy fun setting. We had a lovely morning where we took our time to enjoy our food and the ambiance and even though they had a queue at one stage, at no point were we hurried or made to think we should move on. It was
