We ordered the cheese pizza, the buffy fold and chicken strips and french fries for takeout yesterday. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long! The pizza was pretty good I did really like the crust but it was very greasy (which I don't mindbut it was just a bit too much) The fold we got was just okay I think we would have enjoyed one with meat in it more so that'son us for ordering the wrong thing. The marinara and ranch were both very watery and lacked flavor. Our 2 year old ate thechicken strips and french fries and ranch and he really liked them! But 30 mins after he threw up the fries everywhere... Idon't believe it was food poisoning or anything like that, I think it was the amount of grease on the fries. Their menu reads soamazingly and we were looking forward to eating here but we were very unimpressed and disappointed when we did get the food. Wemust have just had bad luck because other reviewers have splendid meals. We wouldn't eat there again.
The bathroom of this place is an homage to Anthony Bourdain- this was a green flag. I had the Burrata and Arugula salad and it was amazing, perfect dressing and i love the roasted peach in this salad, really A+. I then had the BlueCheese BuffaloDrumsticks and they were pretty good but i have to say that this take on Buffalo wings is not a better interpretation in myopinion, i think drumsticks don’t work better than wings for the reason of them having more connective tissue than wings andless skin to meat ratio, i appreciate the creativity and the presentation but would recommend they turn this dish back intowings. Finally for the pizza i had the Hula girl: house tomato sauce, mozzarella, pineapple, pepperoni, goat cheese, pickledjalapeno I did not like this pizza, in retrospect it was my mistake for ordering this one but the appeal to me was thejalapeño and pepperoni. I didnt particularly like the addition of pineapple or goat cheese. But to comment on the actual pizzaitself: it was good, good sauce and good crust. All in all i think the pizza here is very good and im sure i would have loved adifferent pizza.
Stopped in for a late lunch and really enjoyed the folded meatball sandwich I got. It’s basically like a piece of pizza folded and comes with marinara dipping sauce. My husband got a pepperoni pizza and said it was tasty. Make sure to check theironline menu because I noticed some pizza options that weren’t on the printed menu! The restaurant has a chill vibe andatmosphere but not a ton of seating, so you may want to make reservations if you’re planning to go for dinner.
Stopped in after swimming up the road, we were greeted by a friendly server who ended up taking great care of us. My pizza was hot, loaded with pepperoni a generous portion! Highly recommend if your looking for a fast quality by the slice of pizza!!
I would rate the food 3/5 stars by itself. The dine in eating experience was a 2/5. Total 2/5. On the food: good ideas, not the greatest execution. Salty Brussels sprouts, both the pizzas were so wet in the middle they fell apart while eating them, but theflavor in the pizzas were good. The big folding sandwiches were giant, which I guess is a good thing? But it felt like it wasall about the size and not about the flavor. The service: we waited a long time, we had to find the waitress to ask for thingsinstead of being taken care of and checked on, that’s annoying. Every person was served their meal at a different time, spreadout across 30 minutes. In a party of 6 we only had two people eating at any given time. That sucked. The establishment: theplace is fine inside, bathrooms are fine, but the indoor tables are way too narrow for pizza to the point that our meal justdidn’t fit on the table. It was hanging off everywhere. The chairs are these classic looking slat back chairs that look finebut are actually really uncomfortable to sit on, and they were high backs which made you feel like you were falling off of themconstantly. Eventually I just stood up. I would eat their take out again because you’re sort of a captive audience insunriver, but I would not go dine in here again.
