There are lots of places to eat in Bend. Do not miss this one. OK, it is cheese, and sausage, and divine green beans charcuterie (yes, I had to look up that word), but it doesn 't really capture what is happening at San Simón. This is one of those places that you can tell they are doing it on purpose. Everything is done right. And the drinks are made to perfection I highly recommend the Executive Lounge, although When Icarus Strikes was tempting. We sat at a four chair table which doubles as a fire pit if the weather is brisk. These are placed in an alley as are four or five other closeted booths, that give you that, I am in a cool place in Spain or Italy feeling. The bar it self is made for the witness protection program or an illicit tryst. Quite dark and sexy. Service was perfect; Taylor the manager, came out to say hello and get our second drink order. Don 't miss it.
An excellent spot that is tucked away in a quaint downtown alley. Drinks were perfectly prepared and delicious. Service was helpful and paced to let you enjoy the atmosphere. Food was fun and tons of little appetizers. Outside seating is rad anytime of year. Parking is available close. I stop in any time I'm downtown.
Our favorite place in downtown Bend. Charcuterie boards are fantastic and the service is as good as it gets. The whole staff is friendly and most helpful. Oh, and the Spanish sardines are beyond amazing!
