Eventually, the food runner brought out the garlic fries, but without any sauces, and the portion was quite small. He mumbled something about being sorry it was a small serving and that they were working on making more. I didn't fully understand him since it was my first visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The waitress took a long time to return to our table. We wanted refills for our kids' milk, and I needed a plate for the bones from my chicken wings. She finally came back, but she didn't mention my garlic fries. While she was attentive in refilling my husband's soft drink until the food arrived, she never brought me more water and didn’t stop by again until she dropped off the bill without asking if we needed anything else. I find it incredibly frustrating when the check arrives before we're finished. I had been planning to order dessert, but that idea went out the window. I ended up ordering a coffee, which I did apologetically, as if it were my fault she had brought the bill without checking in first. When she brought my coffee, she just set it down without asking if I wanted milk or sugar, and I didn’t see her again until she returned with a new bill 15 minutes later. Thankfully, I was able to use some of my child's milk for my coffee. It was a pretty lackluster experience. Then, just as we were finishing our meal, another order of garlic fries appeared. Did it really take that long to prepare fries? It was quite ridiculous. On a positive note, my little two-year-old daughter was allowed to have her own milk to share with her brother's meal.
I have dined at this Red Robin multiple times in the past, but it seems the service continues to decline. During my most recent visit, we were nearly overlooked after being seated, and it took almost 20 minutes for our drink orders to be taken. We tried to order our food at the same time, but our waitress abruptly left to attend to another table before coming back to us. Once we placed our order, we waited an additional 25 minutes for our water to arrive. We chose Red Robin over a traditional sit-down restaurant, thinking we would get quicker service, especially with a toddler in tow. While we were trying to be patient, we noticed other waitstaff delivering meals to tables that had been seated after us, prompting us to speak up. The waitress blamed the kitchen for the delays, but the food was clearly cold and had been prepared long before she finally brought it to us. We promptly requested our check, paid, and left. Overall, we spent an hour and a half waiting for a cold meal, which felt like a clear violation of food handling standards. The waitress seemed aware that our experience fell far below what is expected in any restaurant but offered no apology or compensation. It's unclear whether we simply had an inexperienced waitress or if this reflects a broader issue with management.
Usually a good choice for a gourmet burger and excellent fries. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The Steakhouse Burger was very disappointing. There were only a few mushrooms on it and the burger was thin. It looked rather flat compared to theadvertised picture. The Cod fish and chips was a bit bland, but the portion was large. The fries never disappoint. Overall, underwhelming
The wait time was reasonable, and the limited staff was hardworking and friendly. While our burgers were good, they didn’t stand out as exceptional. Unfortunately, the fries were cold and stiff, almost as if they had come from a morgue. I’ve dined here many times in the past, and the food has typically been better. I’m hoping for an improved experience next time.
I am used to the one in Tigaerd, OR and a lot more hospitable and clean. The waiter was nice and it seems to be new. However, the place is not clean. Tables are not wiped clean and sticky, salt shaker had food stuck to it, the seats had stains, and foodcrumbs between the table and the wall. Overall, not clean. The food is good but my daughter's fries were dry and old, I end upordering fresh ones. The Overall experience is 2 stars at most. But the waiter gets 5 stars.
