**Dining Experience at King Buffet: A Mixed Bag** King Buffet offers a varied selection of Chinese cuisine, praised for its generous portions and flavorful dishes when fresh. Patrons enjoy the clean buffet area and attentive staff, with many recommending favorites like dumplings and seafood. However, several recent visits have raised concerns about food quality, with instances of cold, chewy meals and overpowering flavors leading to dissatisfaction. While the buffet remains a comforting option for many, the inconsistent quality and occasional cleanliness issues could deter some diners. Overall, King Buffet presents a solid choice when the food is fresh, but caution is advised.

Was User at King Buffet a mag?
The buffet was clean and delicious. The restaurant is spacious, though not as large as many other buffet places. The staff was very friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable for the dinner options available. I would give it a higher rating, but I noticed they don't offer sushi (only one type without fish), crabs, or beef, which helps keep the prices low. It's conveniently located near other restaurants and shops.... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about King Buffet:
The food was excellent, and I truly enjoyed my meal. However, there is definitely a need for some cleaning around the tables and floors. While the area where the food is prepared is clean, the dining area could use some attention. View all feedback.
King Buffet has always been my go-to spot for Chinese food, but this recent experience has likely been my last. The orange chicken tasted overwhelmingly fishy, rendering it almost inedible; I ended up throwing away 90% of it, and my roommate even spat hers out. I usually order the beef lo mein, but unfortunately, it made me feel sick, so that went in the trash as well. I also ordered soup, but after the two disappointing dishes, my roommate and I decided not to risk it and discarded that too. I'm giving this a 2-star rating because King Buffet is typically decent, and the portions are large enough to serve as multiple meals. When it's fresh, it's acceptable, but you need to be cautious because when it misses, it really misses.
The seasoning in the dumplings was unbalanced, with some flavors being too mild while the ginger was overpowering. The chicken in the orange chicken dish was quite fatty and lacked flavor. The fried rice was just average and had a dry texture.
The portions were generous, the packaging was done with great care, the order was accurate, and the food was absolutely fantastic! The soup and rice were particularly delicious!
