As you walk in you will feel like you have stepped back in time with retro furnishings. Its quirky and nostalgic. I ordered a toastie and hot choc for lunch. Yum can describe the toastie. The takeaway presentation was great, served in a box with a string bow. The girls were lovely and very friendly, (as they have been on each occassion i have been) with quick service. Don't walk past this laneway cafe without popping in.

The pulled pork bagel is absolutely delicious and there is always a home made sweet that I cannot resist - hint, try the violet crumble slice! They've just moved to a really cool spot in the lane way that connects Bridge St and the Denny St car park. Great place to sit in and relax or easy to take away if you need. Shannon is so lovely and it's always such a nice experience to visit the wild Apple herself! I go to this cafe every day and it is always amazing, highly recommend!

The hummingbird cake I tried was the best I've ever had, and it was vegan. Even though I'm not vegan, it was delicious! The slice was big enough to share, although I didn't want to after the first bite. We also enjoyed a pot of English breakfast tea for two, with Twinings brand, for just $10. The tea was hot and they provided plenty of milk. Overall, it was a lovely experience with friendly staff. Thank you, ladies! I would definitely recommend this place.
