It appeared that there was just one young man working at the restaurant; I hope he wasn’t also the chef.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. There was no greeting upon entering, and we had to find our own seats. Service took far too long.... read more I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. There was no greeting upon entering, and we had to find our own seats. Service took far too long. We paid $14 each for chicken fried steak that was tough, burnt, and inedible. When I went to the bar to pay, I was ignored. I mentioned the poor quality to the waitress, who just gave us a blank stare. We won’t be returning. I even took a photo of the burnt steak, which they attempted to hide under a thick layer of gravy.

I didn’t eat, but enjoyed a drink while watching the parade. The beer prices are great, and the staff is very friendly. Keep up the excellent work, everyone! I rarely give 5-star ratings, but you definitely earned it.

The $12 salad didn’t have any standout qualities, and only two of the three catfish dishes met our expectations. Unfortunately, the third dish, the chicken fried steak, was overcooked and inedible—it really should have been returned to the kitchen. Given that it was lunchtime and the place wasn’t very busy, there’s no excuse for the food quality to be anything less than perfect.

During my first experience, the burger I ordered was overcooked and burnt. When I raised the issue, the staff merely mentioned that the burgers are cooked over an open flame, showing no concern or offering any apologies. On my second and final visit, I ordered chicken strips along with another burger. Sadly, the burger was once again overcooked, burnt, and dry. The chicken strips were also overcooked and dry, and the food was barely warm when it was served. Additionally, the service was unfriendly, and we didn’t feel inclined to voice our complaints since it was clear they weren't interested in customer satisfaction. We won't be returning to this restaurant.
