I absolutely adore the cozy, home-cooked vibe of this restaurant, and I must say, A&W root beer is the best!
The staff at the front have no qualms about using offensive language in front of customers. One of the employees even said the n-word right before taking my order, and both were engaged in inappropriate conversation. While I'm generally not sensitive to foul language, this crossed the line and was very inappropriate.
The service was fine (think she was new) and one of the employees had a terrible pot mouth that would bluish a sailor. We got the wrong food and the burgers were so salty that they were edible.
The food was excellent! I really enjoyed the Papa Burger, and it was nice to see the lobby open up. I always make it a point to stop for a root beer float too.
Wasn't even sure they made my order right. You said what I got you and okay. That's it. Then drag to the window, three ladies sat to eat and vaping (not sure it was also nicotine) right on the window.
