However, the serv... read more The pizza and fried Brussels sprouts were flavorful and visually appealing, and they were served quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the service felt a bit uncoordinated, which meant we ended up assisting more than I anticipated. I found the prices to be on the higher side for the food—around $2 for a lightly topped pizza slice the size of my hand—but overall, the experience was pleasant.

I had high hopes becau... read more I visited today (Sunday, August 25, 2019, around noon) with fairly high expectations since the restaurant had only opened three days ago. I had high hopes because it's owned by the same people behind Shortline Sushi and Sips Sprinkles, both of which are fantastic. I'm happy to say they did not disappoint! Upon entering, I was thrilled to discover they offered craft beer on tap. I started with a large classic salad, which came with housemade Italian dressing on the side—it was delicious. Next, I ordered a veggie pizza with light cheese on a cauliflower crust. Wow, what a treat! Another winner in Belvidere!

We received our appetizers and pizza before our drinks, which was frustrating. The Crab Rangoons were overcooked to the point of being burnt, but the Mac and Cheese bites were delicious. I inquired about our drinks three times at the bar and was met with attitude and told to return to my table. After about 40 minutes, our drinks finally arrived, but they were not what we ordered. I requested to speak with a manager, and the woman who assisted me was genuinely apologetic and offered a refund for the drinks. While the pizza was tasty, the service left much to be desired. I appreciated the manager's sincerity, especially since she had just started her shift, but overall, I don't plan to return.

I didnt like the fact that I was told after my food would be ready, that something got messed up. There were several other peoplewaiting on their orders as well. Poorly ran place. They could have given us a coupon for a free appetizer or something. I gothome to eat my pizza, it wasn't even that good. Mod pizza is better.
