What ee1000 doesn't like about Edera:
We found the place open during Easter Monday (most are closed) and had a table without booking. So far so good. Then there was only a fixed menu for the occasion, no choice, with set plates (mostly meat) and house wine. Honestly, the food quality was really good, but the quantity per person was too much for a traveller stop. So we were forced to let the serving plates half full, and to pay a 38€ each. Siamo andati in coppia ma è stato come essere in famiglia: Francesca è professionale ed accogliente, proprio come tutta la famiglia. Le pietanze, tutto squisito (dagli antipasti ai liquori) che abbiamo mangiato, erano il giusto equilibrio tra modernità e tradizione, e di produzione propria, con un conto onesto. Complimenti a tutta la famiglia Cadau!
Last week I came across this almost hidden gem, on the way back to Cagliari. Food was gorgeous, prices more than affordable. Unbelievable quality price ratio. We enjoyed excellent starters and a relatively wide choice of mains. The desserts were actually even better, at last with sugar properly measured out, remarkable the ice cream of torrone. In the hall a lonely and smart waitress was ruling the venue, managing alone all the business, though abusing in saying “Carissimi” to everybody. We came back today and she did not let us down.
