Then, when I tried to use a Groupon, the employee seemed confused and ended up calling the manager after asking me to verify the Groupon. It felt like they thought I was trying to scam them, as after a long wait, they refused to accept the Groupon and instead offered me a $5 discount if I paid upfront again.
