not open until 2022 for immersion. we love this place! there is something about the tacos and burritos here that they taste in contrast to most of the breakfast tacos I had lived in my life. Oh kumpel, salgados burritos can feed the mass! haha. I ordered two burritos who thought it was the size of one of taco bell. No! much to my surprise the burritos would be my breakfast and lunch! if they want a lot, they only have to order a burrito, or two tacos instead. my fave is a chorizo bean taco with kartoffel cheese together with a horchata! it is sooo good. her horchata is also so creamy. they will not be disappointed!
I've been eating at the few Mexican restaurants in the area. Salgado's is by far the best in terms of food quality, flavor, and cost.
This small restaurant off the beaten path could use a bit of exterior TLC, but don’t let that stop you from visiting. The staff was polite and attentive, and the portion size of the burrito was more than enough to satisfy two adults. The great food and service really make up for the surroundings at this hidden gem. While the parking lot and entrance could use some updates, overall, I’ll definitely be coming back!
Just as good as it was back when I lived in belton. Too bad the inside STILL isn't opened.
