Dead Fish Grill - Belton

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I wasn't particularly impressed. The brunch menu was quite limited, so I ended up ordering a kids' meal, which was disappointing. I had hoped to bring a friend here for her birthday next month, but it looks like I’ll need to find a different place.

It might be slightly pricey, but it’s definitely worth it! If you decide to go, I highly recommend the catfish plate—it’s hands down the best catfish I’ve ever tasted, and it’s likely to be the best you'll ever have too!

I used to take out-of-town guests to this restaurant because it was a great place to showcase Belton. However, I will never return. I recently went there for lunch with a guest and was shocked by how poor the menu selection was—it's the most limited I've ever seen in a restaurant! To make matters worse, the service was incredibly slow and unresponsive, despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't busy at all. I've now decided to take my guests to downtown Belton instead; it's just a short drive over the lake.

I was not happy with my experience at Dead Fish Grill. I visited your restaurant yesterday, September 26th. I reserved my table two weeks in advance for a party of 27 people with one in a wheelchair for a surprise birthday party and proposal to my girlfriend. I let them know everything that was happening and asked to be by the water to capture the moment. I chose to arrange my event in your restaurant as I heard the food served at your place is tasty and the view perfect for my event. But to my surprise the food served was pathetic as well as the service.

The fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease the fish like the grill hade never been cleaned. The service was awful the only could thing was the view of the lake.
