HOMETOWN HOMESTYLE CAFE. Great breakfast, but equally as good entrees here. Chicken fried chicken, CF steak, burgers, and wonderful Turkey Club Sand on wheat! Friendly service and reasonalbe prices make for a good anytime place to eat in this area. View all feedback.

Wasted an hour of my time and gas looking for this place, the first time at 6am and too dark to find and then find out they don 't open until 8am??? A little late for breakfast for us early birds going to work. OUTSTANDING! I've heard about it for years, and finally Frys. Our party had the chicken fried steak breakfast, chicken Florentine Crepes and the daily breakfast with a side of pecan pancake. It was breakfast in the restaurant I had for years. Everything was perfectly boiled and burst with taste. Chicken fried steak was big and responsible, but super delicate, the crepes were delicate and extremely tasteful. The pancakes very satisfying. I'm mad at me because I don't come here today, and that's gonna be a regular place from now on...
Good lunch. Good experience, lunch for 4, the guys had the Hamburger Steak, the girls the potato soup, all noticed how they enjoyed. Good service, good style, good choice on menu, reasonable prices. We're coming back!
To caveat...my four stars would be 5 if not for the aesthetics. Don't let the location nor appearance fool you though! Your belly will thank you . I... correction...we loved it. I brought my niece along for the trip. She ordered a chipotle burger. My son ordered chicken-and-waffles and I ordered a veggie omelette with steak added. We were also curious of the french toast. Guys...the only way to kill curiosity; Yes! We ordered the sweet french toast. They serve breakfast all day! Yum! We all sampled everything on the table and enjoyed every bite. The service was on par as well. He was quite patient with my indecisive niece. I made her choose. I honestly believe it's less than $10 a person but when you include everything we added on...it goes to about $15 a person. Still not bad when you walk away satisfied. Guys...go try this place out! Overlook the appearance. You won't regret it.
Great atmosphere and extremely friendly! We walked in, the place was packed and I was worried it would take forever. Not the case! Food was quick and delicious. It seemed like the entire staff was happy to work there. We will be back the next time we are in town!
It was surprisingly great. Quaint Building and EXCELLENT Food. I had the Sirloin tips with grilled onions and mushrooms while my husband ordered the Tbone. Both were cooked to our linden and wonderfully seasoned. Appropriate prices. We were lucky and they had live music from the Good Ole Boys and they were GREAT! Definitely recommend - menu seemed a fantastic breakfast place as well as they serve it all day. Service was fast, efficient and polite!
