At last, we finally visited this place! Even though we all opted for burgers and chips, I was blown away by their size – they were massive and came with plenty of salad. The prices were reasonable, although I don’t buy burgers often, so I'm not sure how they compare. After having these burgers, I would definitely recommend it as a great spot for a Kiwi treat. I had the worst service experience of my life at this restaurant, and it was primarily due to the female owner. She was extremely rude and created a fuss about accepting card payments. The food was excessively oily as well. Not only was she disrespectful to us, but we could also overhear her complaining about us to her staff. Having worked in hospitality my entire life, I would never treat customers that way! View all feedback.

The best fish and chippery i've been to. mark and dee have both ingratiated themselves as pillars of the local community and always engage the customers with genuine conversation. they remember details about their clientele and make the place feel homely, which is a vibe no fish and chip shop normally has. they've become such a great place for the new zealanders to come and dine (also the NZ food they have there is really good! . their prices are extremely decent and the servings are plentiful.i wish the landlord of the Belmont village wasn't such a git, but he knows that he is and continues to be so anyway. he's going to pin all blame for he and his family's reputation on the storeowners of the entire shopping village and not realise that most of the people who live in area find him loathesome regardless
Those who know me will already be aware that it is my hobby to drive all over and try a take-away burger from shops like these, all over SEQ. I stopped in at Y'eaten? Today in Belmont and ordered the basic burger. The staff were super friendly. The burger came out and it was huge. It was absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious and easily the most generously topped burger I have had from anywhere. (I'm on roughly my 30th take away burger) it was extremely good value for money.Currently there is temporary fencing around the front but IT IS STILL OPEN. Do yourself a favour and eat here. 10/10.I'll be back!

Worse service experience of my life from the female owner! She was insanely rude, and made a huge deal about using card payments. Food was way too oily too. Not only was she rude to us face to face, she was complaining to her staff and we could hear her too. I’ve worked in hospitality all my life and would never behave so poorly to customers!
