Whenever I'm traveling in an area where there's a Collins Street Bakery, I make it a point to stop and browse. My go-to cookie is the Russian Nuggets, but the cheese cookies are also delicious. Unfortunately, it was too early for fruitcake this time, but it's definitely on my radar for next month. View all feedback.
What Rachele H doesn't like about Collin Street Bakery I-35 Waco:
It was my first time visiting this bakery. When I walked in there were two employees. Neither of them greeted me. I was the only one in the store. They just stared at me the entire time, until I finally asked if I could make an order while I was standing at the checkout counter.. Daisy looked at me and said, what do you want. I gave her my order thinking at some point she had to thank me for coming in. However, I was... View all feedback.
Excellent deli food, but we always keep for their cookies and causes. fantastic coffee. the only criticism I have is, although they offer gluten-free products, they keep them in the same case and treat them with the same pliers and like the non-glue-free products. this leads to cross-contamination. So if they eat gluten-free from dietary founders (not wrong with) they should be good, but if they have a sensibility or allergy, they should probably skip the gluten-free products and go for their fantastic salads and coffees.
We dropped into the Collin Street Bakery as it hosted the local Tesla Superchargers and found an absolute gem. The location is quite large and features all types of cakes and cookies to feed your sweet tooth. The location also has a deli, but was closed by the time we arrived, but the menu looked delicious.Friendly staff and reasonable prices make this place a winner.
Great place to grab a bite while charging your tesla. Clean restrooms and sitting area. Highly recommend their apple streusel muffins.
Expensive! But you will get delicious cakes and pies. We had chili too but that was just okay. We saw several signs for this place and had no idea of its history so decided to look it up. We bought 1 large pie about 40)and 3 small ones about 20 each) plus the chili. Spent a little over $100 dollars for that. Although my $40 pie was absolutely delicious it's not something I could afford to do regularly
GREAT service, food, history, and atmosphere. Such a beautiful building! The only thing sweeter than the people are the treats.
