What Isabelle Jost doesn't like about Grotto San Michele:
Half-empty terrace on Saturday lunchtime, many potential guests are turned away despite there being seats. Service staff probably didn't want to do too much work. We had to wait a very long time until we were served. Guests left the terrace because they were not served. The food was good. View all feedback.
Terrace with spectacular views. The service leaves something to be desired. Since the staff are many young people, in training from the hotel school, they are then excused for errors in the service. However, it does not take away from the fact that those who supervise should be very careful about the work of these young people. Concerning the price/performance ratio, I was not happy with the main course on the menu, which was definitely too little.
I loved the terrace and the reception venue, honestly the menu is small but the quality of the food is finely chosen. I was afraid of the exorbitant price but nope. They offer regional dishes and an excellent cellar! Note that the staff is welcoming and speaks French
Good selection of Ticino specialties a bit expensive but the food is very good.
