I've always been a fan of Rustic up until today, but am less than impressed by the service. I was barely greeted, and not with a smile, then was ignored at the counter while my drink was rang up. I was charged 25% more than the price on the menu and when I asked about the difference, I was informed that they now serve a different tea, thus the price difference. Excellent spot for coffee in historic Fairhaven. Half wine bar, half high-end coffee house, this place radiates warmth.
Such a consistently gracious crew, offering great java and authentic baked goods. This is one tall americano who loves the sense of hearth and home at the Rustic!
I was just in here earlier today and the baristas were super friendly! One of them suggested a white chocolate mocha with lavender syrup... one of the most unique, awesome coffee drinks I've ever experienced! Great atmosphere, loved my visit.
I can't get enough.. I'm a huge fan of the rustic it's the coffee shop of my dreams. it's practically perfect in every way, from the cozy yet stylish ambiance to the spot on service. the menu is flawless; i've loved every drink i've tried, and they have a delicious selection of pastry and food items to pair drinks with. plus, they're always mixing new specials to try out and they handle off the menu orders with finesse. the counter fireplace and the well stocked reading area seal the deal.<br/ <br/ ...so i'm convinced the rustic is actually made of magic.
A perfect coffee shop. With a delightful staff, all of whom are capable barristas, to the very definitely 'not Fairhaven ' decor and ambiance (new, sleek-yet comfortable- and so very clean), to the bookcase full of loaner books, this is probably the best place to relax over a coffee drink in Fairhaven. Maybe the best place in Bellingham. It is also quiet and thus a great place to meet a friend or business associate.
