A friend brought me to this delightful tea garden, and I'm so glad she did! It's such a charming spot with outdoor seating. I tried the Abbey tea and opted for the oolong tea, along with salmon, cucumber, and egg salad sandwiches. I also had a side of fruit and the most delicious cream I've ever tasted! Firstly, the server was polite and friendly. We ordered a pot of tea and a French press coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee was undrinkable, tasting as if it had been brewed with a year-old batch of Folgers. Since this is a tea shop, I can overlook the poor coffee. A truly delightful high tea experience. Going to Abbey Garden was one of my favorite, rare treats when I was a child. Because of the small (but excellent! menu, it may be difficult for people with wheat and dairy allergies to order.
Full tea experience in a quiet, lovely setting. Bring a friend!
