Lorikeet - Bellingham

I had an amazing dining experience with fantastic service. Their tacos are simply incredible and consistently delicious. I love the Dude-Arita (I usually get it in the verdita style) and the pineapple ginger mule. The outdoor seating is really nice and comfortable. We always bring visitors here when they're in town. The guacamole is excellent, especially paired with the shrimp ceviche. The service is always spot on. I just wish they opened a bit earlier during the week and offered lunch on Saturdays.

This restaurant features a spacious tropical island vibe and a lively atmosphere. The cocktails are fun, and the food is reasonably priced. A great spot!

I haven't been this impressed with a dining experience in a long time! Each dish was an explosion of different aromas. I tried the Brazilian fish stew (which was very spicy), the scallop trio, and the mushroom and black cod tacos. I couldn’t pick a favorite because everything was delicious. The decor was fantastic—I felt like I was in Brazil. The service was friendly, and overall, it’s a great place. I returned for happy hour and enjoyed a fantastic drink special. The Aperol splash was delightful!

Very nice ambiente, excellent service, very friendly staff. eating is well prepared, delicious and the cocktails are diverse. a must in this city

Finally got down to trying Lorikeet after going by it a million times. Now I am wondering what took me so long. The place has a bit of a different vibe than bars around it. Let 's say it is a bit more tropical than other Bham bars. The have mostly tapas style small plates. The ceviche was excellent as were the prawns. They have various tacos and bowls also, but where they really stand out is their tropical style cocktails. Daiquiris, Margaritas, Rum-Rum Rickey and some truly wild Fun Mug drinks. I had the Dangler which is two rums, absinthe and a bunch of other stuff that came in an angler fish mug.....an angler fish mug with an ice cube with a red light in it! Sounds sort of kitschy but the presentation was entertaining...and it packs quite a punch. Maybe that is why I thought the glowing cube was so cool.... The prices are downtown standard. So...if you want a different vibe, take off your PNW flannel, REI gear or whatever, slap on your tropical shirt and head to Lorikeet.
