I'm a huge fan of Lafeen's! I've been coming here since my college days, especially after intense Super Soaker battles in the cemetery. My top picks are the chocolate bars with nuts, the cream-filled Bismarcks, and the raised donuts with sprinkles. And please, don't even get me started on Old Fashioneds – I just don't get those at all!
The freshest and most delicious doughnuts I've ever had! I tried a pumpkin spice and a maple buttermilk doughnut, and I could truly taste the pumpkin and buttermilk! Incredible! I was really impressed with the texture and flavor. Without a doubt, the best doughnut I've ever tasted. It felt like a perfectly refined old-fashioned recipe, made with love and skill!
This is the best place ever! It has completely spoiled all other donut shops for me because they can't even compare. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and now I get to share this experience with my own children. If you haven't visited right before closing and had a hot, fresh donut, you really haven't lived. Don't miss out; go for it!
I just enjoyed the flakiest crust, the softest and most buttery donut, and the best cream cheese turnover I've ever tasted. I give it a perfect 10 out of 5 stars. The staff is fantastic, and the food is even better.
