The food was good although not great. The service was very good and pleasant. Seating at a communal table for dinner was not our favorite but worked out okay. The violinist was way too loud for the room.
Top end mix drinks, amazing meat/cheese trays with an atmosphere rarely seen in a hotel bar. Stop and order from the prohibition menu. You won't regret it!
JED MADES THE BEST BURGER. His culinary creations leave nothing to be desired! Worth checking out for sure!
If you want a well drink I'm sure they would make it but you would be doing yourself a disservice. We arrived with our friends for a quick drink before heading out for dinner down town and found ourselves sitting and chatting over classic prohibition era drinks for several hours. The classic speak easy vibe was a welcome split from the typical Bellingham bar scene. After ordering our first round from their drink menu we asked the bartender (Ryder) to make something of his liking based off our tastes. He gladly obliged and mixed several cocktails per our request. It was a really cool start to the night. This is a great place to slow down, enjoy the care that goes into each drink and chat. If you are looking for a classy place to start or end your night while in downtown Bellingham Amendment 21 is a must.
I highly recommend Hotel Leo! It's lovely, and our room was very, very clean. An unexpected delight was the French press and delicious coffee in the room. The location is perfect for waking to restaurants, shops, museums and parks. If you're A history buff you'll love It! Be sure to check out the old photos.
