Afghan Cuisine - Bellevue

I was disappointed with Friends and Young restaurant. Three of the most popular Afghan dishes were missing, which was unacceptable. Additionally, our server seemed inexperienced and lacking in proper management skills. As a result, we decided to leave and dine at another restaurant. I typically do not leave reviews, especially negative ones, but it was disheartening to witness the poor operation of this Afghan restaurant.

I made a pit stop at this restaurant during my bike tour. I ordered the Qulabi Uzbeki (Palawi) and was very impressed with the tender and well-seasoned meat. Although dining inside was not an option, I enjoyed my meal outside. The owner went out of their way to bring me additional dishes and flavors to try. I definitely plan on returning to try out more of their dishes!

If you're a fan of meat and looking to experience authentic Afghan cuisine, then this is the perfect place for you. I really enjoyed their meat dishes, especially the tikkah kabab and pallou. It can be hard to find halal restaurants that cook meat to your preference (like medium rare), but this place definitely delivers. Afghan cuisine always impresses me, and I highly recommend checking them out.

To be honest, I am not really interested in giving reviews, but I would like to share my thoughts on that. this restaurant really does not offer afghani food cuz afghani eating is very tasty. Actually, nothing tastes good here. I really do not recommend this restaurant. I wish there was a star without star.

Some of the BEST food in Bellevue.. hands down! The rice is amazing, the skewers are to die for. Don’t miss out!
