Opens at 11am.Food hot, fast and delicious. Portions are good for the average person but not for bigger eaters. Waitress was attentive and with a smile. Establishment is fairly quite so good for conversations. 8/10 in cleanliness. Most locations, in Belleville including this one, have that musty smell of old due to the high humidity. (Being from Vancouver BC, we are not used to the smell of the buildings and homes her... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Piper Arms Pub Belleville:
We went to Piper's on the 28th if May to honor my late husband on his birthday. I have to say it was the worst meal. The sandwich was tasteless, my granddaughter had the fish it was so dry like saw dust. We ordered the spinach dip now can this get ANY smaller for the price. 6 pita pieces and a handful of nacho chips. Sooo disappointing. I have passed my experience to friends and family and will not be going back View all feedback.
We visited the restaurant today, and unfortunately, my partner's meal was incorrect not once, but twice. When we asked the staff to rectify the mistakes, they seemed irritated. As a result, my husband had to eat by himself while waiting a long time for his meal to arrive. The wait times were excessive, and during that time, no one checked in on us. When we asked for drink refills, the staff appeared quite annoyed. Additionally, our friend's fish and chips came without tartar sauce, and when he requested it, he was met with an exasperated attitude. I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but after this experience, I don't think I'll be coming back. We felt very disrespected, and to add insult to injury, they didn’t offer any discount for the inconvenience of my husband having to eat alone due to their errors.
The service was outstanding, and the liver, onions, and bacon were superb, just like the fish and chips. Our waitress was delightful, but it would have been nice to receive some recognition after waiting at the front door for more than five minutes.
We visited Piper's on May 28th to celebrate my late husband's birthday, and I must say it was the most disappointing meal I've ever had. The sandwich was flavorless, and my granddaughter's fish was incredibly dry—almost like sawdust. We also ordered the spinach dip, and I couldn't believe how small the portion was for the price; it came with just six pita pieces and a few nacho chips. It was all so disappointing. I've shared my experience with friends and family, and I won't be returning.
The food my family ordered looked appealing and seemed promising at first. Unfortunately, the classic burger was a letdown. It was too thick and very watery, lacking that satisfying greasiness. The toppings were minimal, featuring only a small piece of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and two thin slices of dill pickle. I had specifically requested no onions, but it seems they typically come standard on the burger. The bun was below average, and the burger itself was completely flavorless; it tasted as though it had been boiled rather than grilled. I couldn’t finish it. On a brighter note, the poutine we ordered on the side was quite tasty. The staff were friendly, but I wouldn’t plan to return, at least not for the burgers. Our total bill was $100.
The signature burger is an absolute masterpiece, a solid 10 out of 10! I truly adore it; the burger patty and every detail are outstanding. It’s undoubtedly one of the best in the region. I'm also a huge fan of your onion rings!
